In radio theater, the voice actors would deliver their lines and the scenes would be heavily accompanied by scores, sound effects, and other background music to make it more alive.
It isn't the same as listening to an audio book because the voice actors won't be simply delivering their lines monotonously. It would be full of feelings exactly like in an actual theater play.
This app has a great collection of plays that you can listen to on your android device.
